1. What This Document Covers

These Terms and Conditions are an agreement between you and EIEIO. By creating an account or using any part of our platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Who This Platform Is For

EIEIO is built for parents and caregivers. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child about whom you provide information. Children do not create accounts, log in, or interact with this platform directly. When children view educational video content through the platform, a parent or caregiver initiates and supervises that activity.

3. What EIEIO Is, What It Is Not, and What We Do Not Guarantee

EIEIO provides developmental screening tools, educational video content, and parent-facing courses designed to help parents support their child's communication development.

EIEIO is not a medical provider. Nothing on this platform is a medical diagnosis, clinical assessment, or treatment recommendation. Our developmental screening is an educational tool designed to help you understand where your child is today. Every child is different. Results depend on many factors including your child's starting point, consistency of use, and individual developmental trajectory. We do not guarantee specific developmental outcomes for any child. Our platform and all content are provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

If our screening indicates your child may benefit from professional evaluation, we will tell you directly. In those cases, we provide a pediatrician discussion guide at no cost and may recommend you seek professional support before or instead of purchasing our program.

If you have any concerns about your child's development, whether based on our screening results or not, consult your child's pediatrician or primary care physician.

4. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Each account is for a single household. You may not share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account.
We use magic link email authentication. When you request access, we send a secure link to the email address on your account. That link is your key to the platform. Do not share it.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or submitted intentionally false information about a child's development.

5. What You Pay and What You Get

EIEIO offers several ways to access the platform. The specific features, content, and pricing for each option are described at the point of purchase. By completing a purchase, you agree to the price and terms shown at checkout.

One-time purchases grant access to the specified content and features as described at the time of purchase. Access does not expire unless otherwise stated.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval and price shown at checkout (monthly or annually). You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@eieio.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access through the end of the period you have already paid for.

Founding member offers may include special pricing, access terms, or benefits described at the time of purchase. Those terms are honored for the life of the offer.

6. Our Guarantee

What we guarantee depends on the plan you choose.

Monthly subscribers can cancel at any time through their account settings or by contacting support@eieio.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the current period, but you will not be charged again. No outcome or satisfaction guarantee applies to monthly plans.

Annual subscribers are covered by a 60-day progress guarantee. If you follow the program for 60 days and your child shows no measurable progress toward the goals outlined in their personalized course, contact us for a full refund. When your child begins the program, our assessment identifies their starting point and your course is built around specific developmental goals based on that starting point. As your child moves through the program, we check in at regular intervals and at module completion to track progress against those goals. We reserve the right to verify program usage before processing a refund.

Lifetime members are covered by our full outcome guarantee. If your child completes the full EIEIO program and does not achieve functional communication in any form, whether spoken words, sign language, or augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), you may request a full refund. The one condition: put in the work. Complete every module we mapped for you and your child. If you do, and your child still doesn't get there, the refund is yours. We are not interested in keeping money for a result we did not deliver. We reserve the right to verify program completion before processing a refund.

Founding member offers honor the guarantee terms of the plan type they include, as described at the time of purchase.

7. How We Use Cookies

Our platform uses cookies and similar technologies. When you first visit, you will see a consent notice that lets you accept, decline, or customize your preferences by category. You can update your choices at any time through the cookie settings panel on our site.
Essential cookies required for the platform to function (authentication, security, basic functionality) cannot be disabled. All other categories require your consent.

8. Your Content and Ours

Everything we create and publish on EIEIO, including courses, videos, music, screening tools, written content, and software, belongs to EIEIO. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce our content outside the platform without written permission.
Any information you provide through the platform (screening responses, account information, feedback) remains yours. By providing it, you give us permission to use it to deliver and improve our services, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, EIEIO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim related to these terms or the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold EIEIO harmless from claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) that arise from your misuse of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your submission of false information.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the platform will be resolved through binding arbitration in Utah. You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
